BAR lobby etiquette: leaving games and readying rules
Leaving games responsibly
Players leave games for valid reasons. Bugs, connection drops, and emergencies happen. Occasional departures are expected and cause no trouble. Habitual early leavers who repeatedly abandon matches risk moderation action. The pattern matters more than any single departure.
Ready states and bugs
Sometimes bugs prevent players from toggling their ready state. This creates awkward lobby situations where someone cannot ready up despite wanting to play. Resetting the lobby connection usually resolves this. Staff understand the difference between a technical issue and intentional disruption.
Stopping matches that go wrong
The !cv stop vote handles situations where a match should not proceed or has broken. Players trigger this through chat. The system runs a vote to end the match cleanly rather than forcing everyone to suffer through a compromised game.
What players say about the BAR community
"One of the few places where you can for sure coordinate with people in matches with a good supportive attitude. Everybody tends to be understanding and constructive." — [Crd] member review
