How bans work
Moderators on the BAR server are volunteers who enforce the code of conduct. Temporary bans and restrictions address behavior violations. The moderation team reviews clips and reports before issuing action, though response times vary depending on mod availability.
What triggers moderation
Griefing, harassment, and abuse all trigger moderator action. The in-game report system feeds reports directly into the moderation queue, and moderators review each report along with the player activity history. Multiple reports against the same player receive escalated attention.
The volunteer reality
Moderators are unpaid community members. Review takes time because each case needs careful attention to the evidence. Understanding this helps players manage expectations when waiting for a review of their situation.
Better communities reduce moderation need
Creed of Champions operates on the premise that well-structured communities need fewer moderator interventions. Clear expectations, shared accountability, and a culture of respect mean problems get addressed by the community itself before they escalate to formal bans.
