How BAR moderation works: reports, escalations, and community review

Understanding the BAR moderation system, how punishments stack, and how experienced players help review reports.

The moderation escalation ladder

BAR treats moderation actions as nudges toward better behavior. A first offense might get a warning. Repeated offenses compound into longer suspensions. The system does not treat identical offenses the same way for every player. If someone keeps doing the same thing after multiple warnings, the next ban will be longer.

Two separate one-week offenses do not simply overlap. They stack according to the escalation policy, meaning repeated behavior gets increasingly serious consequences.

Community report reviewers

Experienced players with sufficient chevrons and OpenSkill get asked to review player reports. If you want to help moderate the community, you can sign up through the designated Discord channel. This keeps the system distributed and fair rather than relying solely on a small moderation team.

Creed of champions

[Crd] The first and only community I have seen that actually holds up to its values. I have honestly not had a single bad experience here.

Competitive play. Zero team-blame.
