seeing who is playing right now

BAR does not have a built-in player count widget in the lobby, so checking active numbers requires a few workarounds. The most reliable method is visiting the battle server website at server4.beyondallreason.info/battle, where active lobbies appear in real time. Counting the total open rooms gives a reasonable estimate of concurrent players. During peak evening hours on weekends, the game feels noticeably busier with more open lobbies and faster queue times.

The community chat also offers a quick visual indicator. When the chat channels fill with active discussion, there are usually enough players online for multiple simultaneous matches. When it goes quiet, expect fewer games.

getting your game reviewed by a mentor

The BAR mentor program lets experienced players review your replays and give targeted feedback on mistakes and missed opportunities. The process works through a ticket-like system. Create a thread in the academy chat, paste a link to your replay from beyondallreason.info/replays, and optionally include your in-game name if it differs from your account. A mentor picks up the review when they have time available.

All public matches upload automatically to the replay site, so the link is usually available within minutes of the game ending. Private matches need to be shared manually from the local replay folder.

When requesting a review, mention what specifically you want feedback on. Saying I think I lost because of a bad midgame transition gets more useful responses than just watch my game. Mentors volunteer their time, and targeted questions make it easier for them to deliver value quickly.

when mentors are available

Mentor availability follows predictable patterns. Weekday evenings and weekend afternoons usually see the most mentor activity. Some mentors check in regularly, others respond sporadically. If no one picks up a review after a day or two, posting a polite reminder usually bumps it to someone who missed it the first time around.

creed of champions

Creed of Champions runs its own replay review system on top of the public mentor program. Members share replays within the group and get feedback from players at higher skill levels who understand the group communication style. The reviews stay constructive and focus on specific improvement areas instead of general criticism.
