How to check your playtime in Beyond All Reason using GEX
Tracking your hours, understanding cheat point progress, and what counts toward your milestones.

Where to find your playtime
BAR does not show a built-in playtime counter in the main menu. The community tool GEX tracks games played since May 2025 and can display your accumulated hours. Type the GEX self-check command in the appropriate channel to pull your stats.
GEX has two limitations to keep in mind. It only tracks games from May 2025 onward, so anything before then does not appear in the count. The tool also may not separate PVP and PVE playtime in its display, though both count toward cheat points.
What counts toward cheat points
PVP matches count fully toward cheat point milestones. PVE matches against AI also count. Spectating games earns credit at half rate. GEX will not track spectating time, so those hours only register through the game's internal system rather than GEX's display.
Cheat level three requires fifteen hours and cheat level four requires one hundred. Once you know where your count stands, you can plan practice sessions or spectate games you would not normally get into the lobby for.
Getting your replays reviewed
If you want to accelerate past those hour milestones with more efficient play, sharing replays for review is the most effective method. Upload your replay from the BAR website where games save automatically, or from your local data/demos folder for private matches. An experienced player will spot economy leaks and positioning mistakes that cost you games.
Community learning environments
Some communities make newer players feel like they need to already know everything before asking questions. Creed of Champions takes the opposite approach. Training sessions, shared replays, and patient teammates are the standard.
[Crd] Having a space like here that offers a community, trainings, events, and the guarantee to not be judged or insulted by fellow members is really precious. Keeping the game safe, and more importantly, fun.
