How to get replay review and when to transition to T2 in BAR
Getting mentor feedback on replays and knowing when to tech up are two skills that accelerate BAR improvement quickly.
How replay review works
Every ranked and unranked BAR match gets saved automatically to the replay website. You do not need to upload anything manually. To request a review, go to the replay page on the BAR site and find your match. Then create a thread in the Academy chat and drop the replay link there.
Name the thread something useful like Team Size, Map, Player Name, and a quick description of what you want checked. Mentors pick up threads when they have time. This functions like a ticket system.
When to transition to T2
Most newer players ask this exact question: when do I stop producing T1 and start building T2. The rule of thumb is T2 economy before T2 units. If possible, secure your economy infrastructure first, then transition to T2 production.
How many units you need before teching depends on the game state. You read the map, check enemy pressure, and decide. No hard number applies universally.
Mine layers as cheap cameras
Mine layers are cheap units. Building them purely for the camera reveal they provide is a legitimate strategy, especially on maps where vision matters. Cameras themselves are not expensive to buy separately either. Either approach works depending on whether you want the explosive utility of mines alongside vision.
Creed of champions
Replay review is exactly the kind of learning environment Creed of Champions values. Clean feedback without blame helps players improve faster. As one member shared:
[Crd] The removal of toxicity, the goal of fun and learning, makes for a refreshing spot to play and spend time. It has also made a game with plenty of complexity a bit less daunting to dive into.
Win with skill, teamwork, and respect.
