Transport Micro Tips That Actually Work in BAR

Drop units without clumping them together. Fix stuck transports with line move ordering. Recover a interrupted build queue without losing your placement.

Unloading transports without clumping

When transports drop everything in one spot, units pile on top of each other and choke the unload. If you want units spread out across the drop zone, handle the unload order differently. Issue a line move command just before the unload triggers. The game uses that movement directive to space units as they disembark instead of dumping them all on a single tile.

Line move before unload prevents stuck units

A simple sequencing trick: tap line move on your transport group, then immediately issue the unload command. This keeps units flowing forward as they exit the transport hull instead of sitting stacked and blocking each other. The difference shows up immediately on contested drops where every second matters.

Interrupted build placement recovery

You press space plus left click to queue buildings, then something urgent pulls your attention away. When you come back, the build ghost is gone. To return to your previous placement order, you need to redo the space plus click sequence from scratch. There is no recovery hotkey that brings back an interrupted build command. Press N does not restore the queue in current builds. This catches newer players off guard and it costs them time mid-fight.

Spacing your air formations

Bar air units tend to bunch into tight clusters by default, which makes them vulnerable to splash damage. If you want a wider formation, issue individual move commands rather than selecting the entire group with a single order. Spread air manually over a larger area before engaging. The extra seconds spent positioning prevent entire squadrons from evaporating under concentrated anti-air fire.

Build the habit of practiced micro

Small mechanical improvements like proper unload sequencing and formation spacing separate decent players from strong ones. These are not flashy techniques. They are quiet habits that compound across dozens of games. Creed of Champions focuses on that kind of disciplined improvement. Teammates who share tips between matches instead of complaining after them make everyone better.
